I think I speak for the all the North-East clubs when I say thanks very much.
And I think I speak for East Anglia when I also say, thank you Swansea for winning. Being totally honest, I Tweeted that I thought Swansea would win at 2-2.Well done anyway, and without 2 of your best players this season.
We were odds on to sign David Villa in January were we not?
Why would Everton want to take him on in the knowledge that if Barca or Real Madrid, to name just two, came calling in the next couple of years he would probably go? Especially after paying a £10m pay out clause. Surely they want longevity? We can live with the fact that he will leave at some point, happy in the knowledge that someone of his stature is at a club like ours.
When he goes, it will be to a club that plays champions league football on a yearly basis. I don't see him as having the same mind set as Rodgers and Martinez. I don't believe he will go this summer, he seems to have been planning for next season for some months already, regardless of the fact that there was every possibility that a club would come in for him in the close season.
Anyhow, I would imagine that plans are already in place for his successor, he might even be close to the club already 'In Huw we trust'

I think we aquited ourselves well today in a game that could have turned out to be a nightmare. That game went across the world and we mixed it with the best. Proud to be a Swan
Absolutely! We had them on the ropes in the second half and what a goal by the man Michu.Promising form and lots to look forward to on that evidence - even Pablo had a good game!
For anyone who missed it, or who lives outside BBC Wales' broadcasts,a superb documentary on our last 30 yrs.

What's the gossip? Is the Beeb summary of Huw cutting ties with Laudrups agent a fair summary?
The gossip is that Tutumlu is a tt and has put phantom st in the press to get Huw to unshackle the moneybags to buy a load of players that Laudrup wants / Tutumlu is agent for.Laudrup has apparently told Huw he wants to remain as manager anyway.
It's not looking like a marriage made in heaven...
Laudrup has come out to say he's staying

Huw and agents have never seen eye to eye and this one seems to be a particularly slippery character.
