Fair play to the guy, he came out and played brilliantly in the second half after looking particularly suicidal going into the changing rooms at half time.

If he can get a full season under his belt with Laudrup's guidance the guy could be quality.

Agreed. He's been the subject of some stick over on the L'pool thread, but it needs to be remembered that he's still only 21. TBH I think he can contribute more to our team than Jo Allen. Oh and Colin Pascoe's girth seems to have doubled since leaving

I actually thought he had a very good game apart from the obvious - his judgement and temperament can be suspect but think that can be trained out of him.

You might end up with an excellent signing there, and yes certainly better than joe Allen right now!

Sat in our apartment in Valencia 24 hours after that result! Fantastic match, followed by a fantastic night. I'm undecided if this is a better away trip than bury away in February as was the norm 10 years ago

I was at the game in Ninian Paaaerk when the away end was trashed. I have no idea why we were placed in the main stand next to the families. It was pre-bubble days and I was one of the first in. Then the buses turned up (IIRC they were late) and it was case of demolition from the off. Madness, but nothing like the hell that Millwall fans used to unleash.
