Last night was more like it!

JJS hitting form and looking like the player we hoped he could be - not since Ferrie and Fatty Robinson have we had a midfielder who can boss the game, play raking long balls and score goals to boot.

Why couldn't he do that when he was playing for us?

To be fair he had a pretty decent record with us - 12 goals in his first season in the Premiership is a fair effort for an 'average' striker. It's no coincidence his drop in form occurred just as Michu was emerging.

With regard to last night, I can only echo ML's words - we did not deserve to win. We were utter gash and a shadow of the team that beat Newcastle with aplomb.

We needed that, even if just to shut that fool Neville Southall up who predicted a four nil thrashing. Wilf getting better and better. The performances have been there, just not the results.

Someone reminded Routledge he is a footballer - to great performances in a row against high quality opposition.

Wilf proving he is the striker we all hoped he would be - a class player.

As Martinez used to say, the performances are there, the results will come.

Just got to do the double next week now!

General consensus is that he had an attitude problem and clashed with Laudrup. TBH, he showed very little last year.

Swans are in trouble I think, only three points from relegation zone and in no form at all. frown

What's going on?

A hell of a lot of injuries and we don't seem to be able to defend anymore.

Confidence is at an all time low (witness Ashley Williams just moaning at everyone yesterday - not what I want to see in a Captain) and we need a win against Fulham to reset ourselves.

On a positive note, Wilfried Bony is becoming the dog's danglies.

Didn't help yesterday that Atkinson failed to give us a stone-wall pen when he had clear line of sight from 10 yards away - Dawson basically shoved Bony over to prevent him connecting with a header.

I follow Chico on Facebook. He's just put a statement out stating it was just a run of the mill training ground spat. Nothing more or less. No brick was harmed (or involved!)

wow, not sure what to think. Swans wouldn't of taken the decision lightly and results have been dismal. Big fan of Laudrup but clearly something wasn't right-if that was players or manager I don't know. Long term stability would be good.
