Was a bit gutted when I came back from being out with the folks and saw 0-1 at 76 mins roughly. What a time to tune in. Really shows what we can do as a club especially when we have to look at others due to injuries etc. Great start for Madou and happy to see Gomis poke that in. Fantastic.

Just magnificent from 1-11 (and 58!).

Chambers will be having nightmares about Montero for months to come.

To see Barrow pull away with the ball from Gibbs, one of the quickest full-backs in the league, was just wonderful to see.

A very happy Swan!

It's a strange feeling being disappointed with not taking a point away from the current champions away. Shame Gomis fluffed it but oh well smiles all around

What no Swansea comment? Since 23rd November ?

Currently giving the mighty Spurs a run for their money. Could go either way too ... or, a draw.

No sitting on the for fence me... I'd make a superb TV pundit on a paltry 2 Millyon per annum... wink

livid-ometer sky rocketed today. All these shots have to go in some time right?

Perfectly understandable.

Liverpool fans could just as easily feel the same about their result today... them's the breaks.

Based on watching MOTD highlights of today's matches which being highlights, is rarely the full picture, however both losing teams could have had a hat full of goals .... if only.... the law of averages sometimes gets completely out of synch.

Spurs should have had 9 men on the pitch for most of the match too. Them's the breaks.

onwards and upwards hopefully anyway. Interested to see what Monk is going to do with the defence, Jazz seems good in some areas then loses his head-perhaps its too soon?

I'm taking bets on when we let the lead slip away. I'm guessing just before half time to let hull get a bit of confidence in with their oranges.

Exeter City fan here..

Take care of Matty Grimes for us. He is a very good player and has been far too talented for Exeter. We always knew he'd go and we wish him well.

Plus the £1.75 million will come in very handy for a small club like us. wink

Cheers!

Fingers crossed it was great business for both of us - £1.75m (rising to £2m I think) will hopefully set you up for a long and prosperous future.

Have only heard great things about Grimes but won't place too much expectation on him too early - it's a big step up!

Hmm it appears so: he's done nothing but good for us and I can understand his aspirations. I don't think anyone could have a bad word to say about him. I will miss him playing for us but will enjoy following his career. Two things thou...augero should be back when he gets back-will Wilf get any game time? He won't be first choice ? In his sky sports interview he responds to the questions about swans fans strangely-something like we will wait till I'm Back and my focus is on the national team? Seems odd that he almost says he's off but doesn't want to say anything to the fans etc ?

Aguero won't play every minute of every game of every season.
City need to manage him well as he is world class when he is fit and in form.
Can see Bony going above Jovetic and Dzeko in the pecking order for striker.
£30m is peanuts for City who you could say are crying out for a consistent striker who knows where the goal is.
I think he will be a success at them.

TBH i think i'd score goals at City, our clubs have dithered over Bony & city have just blown us all out of the water,

i'm truly gobsmacked as to why us Spuddies or Liverpool have not signed this this gem of a player .

True. He will have some players behind him and on the wings too feeding him.
I don't think £20m+ was a fee we could have paid after buying Balotelli and still having Borini on the books. If Bony had been around in the summer still and Borini was sold for £10m I think we might have had a bid.
Be interesting to see how he progresses now. He's shown he can do it for Swansea.
