Unbelievable Jeff!
So Huw Jenkins evidently signed heads of agreement on behalf of all directors (except the Trust) on 15th December. The trust - the second largest shareholder - was not informed until 29th March!
Two of the directors HJ signed for were allegedly unaware and are allegedly unhappy...
After all the hard work, success and goodwill generated during his tenure, with one sly move to cash in his chips he has left his reputation in tatters.

Looking at Legend83's post 4 up from this one, a question springs to mind...
What's gone right the last few games?
Woo! and quite literally Hoo! I was on the train back from London Town to Farnborough this evening and there were a lot of VERY quiet West Ham fans on board. The three who got out at Farnborough and walked to their car near mine in the car park barely said a word all the way there.
I'd been out with the wife today, not to the game, so the result was a mystery to me until I got home and fired up the internet.

A brief reportage of the loans you loaned us...
Liam Shephard - 6/10. Played in centre midfield upon his return to Huish Park and obviously struggled a little as its not his favoured position. Nice lad, very quiet and I wish him well for the future. Can't see him being invited back though.
Connor Roberts - 9/10. Superb player and this lad will be in your first team in 12-18 months if he continues to develop. He won "Player Of The Year" awards on Saturday from the Away Travel Club, the local paper vote and the Community Trust; won the "Young Player Of The Year" award and runner up in the official Supporters Club and won the Disabled Supporters Group one.
Brilliant lad, great sense of humour, great to do the media stuff with and fitted in like a glove (pun intended!). Missed just one game all season due to an under-21 call up for Wales so made 54 appearances for us. We over-use the loan system, having had over a hundred loan deals in the last 12 years but I'd say Connor would get in most people's all time best loan XI.
I have it on authority that we will be having someone else on loan from you next year. Given that the emergency loan system is getting an overhaul in the summer, it would have to be for a half-season or a full-season so any ideas??
Here's an interview he did today.

Thanks Glover, always good to hear your reports.
I look forward to seeing how Connor develops and with Kyle Naughton currently our first choice RB I can see Roberts getting a real chance!
Not heard anything on the grapevine but I would love to see Aaron Lewis or Joe Rodon come to you - two very promising defenders.
Owain Jones would be a coup for you but I imagine (no offence!) he would go to a Championship club as he is quite the striker.

No offence taken, Legend. I understand the way these things go.... we've been used as the first club in a youngster's career many times before and the parent club then takes them back before shipping them out to a club in a higher division. Sad thing to say is that now we are in L2, there's a lot more "higher division" clubs than when we were in L1. Therefore Connor and/or Jones would most likely end up elsewhere. I've seen Jones play, I'm sure, last season in a PSF against us. Impressive indeed.
ETA: This was the Swansea squad that night (4th August 2015, you lost 3-2)
Swansea City Under-21s:
1. Josh Vickers 2. Connor Roberts (Capt) 3. Raheem Manley 4. Jay Fulton 5. Stephen Kingsley 6. Joe Rodon 7. Ryan Hedges 8. Josh Sheehan 9. Owain Jones 10. Henry Jones 11. Mo Barrow
Swansea Substitutes:
12. Keston Davies (64 mins for Joe Rodon) 13. Oliver Davies 14. Dan Alfei (72 mins for Connor Roberts) 15. Kyle Copp (80 mins for Henry Jones) 16. Dan James (72 mins for Ryan Hedges) 17. Alex Samuel (46 mins for Owain Jones)
So Rodon played an hour, Jones played a half and Lewis didn't.

Yes Lewis only stepped up to the U21s from the U18s this season and was one of the stars of the campaign that saw us unfortunately lose the promotion playoff semi against Villa.Swansea City Under-21s:

Kingsley, Fulton and Barrow are now first team squad.
I would be pleased for you if you get Lewis, Rodon, Dan James, Owain Jones, Alex Bray or Oliver McBurnie. The rest are not likely to make it.
Down the line you should get Darren Way to tap us up for young strikers Liam Cullen and in particular Jordan Garrick who has been ripping up the U-18s league and is a good a prospect as I have ever seen at the Swans.

any idea of the 11 that will be at Falkirk tonight, i'm contemplating going but as I understand its not a friendly as such its a bounce match almost with out reserve 11 ish. I say reserve we only have a 16 man squad really.
Yeah it is mainly our U23 lot so no established Prem starters. Botti Biabi likely in the team and if you do go look out for a very young lad called Jordan Garrick - think he will be a star.Legend83 said:

Might be just worth going to see how these lads have developed.

we have a game Saturday so certainly will be our youth. If I go i'll keep an eye out.

Fulton and Kingsley definitely won't be there as they are 1st team players now - they both played in the friendly against Swindon last night and Fulton got on the score sheet.I assume fulton, kingsley, blair and botti will be there. Might be just worth going to see how these lads have developed.
Kingsley will potentially be vying as our first-choice left back next season as he was in favour at the end of last season.
