ScoobieWRX said: S202 - Forerunner of the Spec C [pedant] Actually an STi special edition of the Ver.7 Spec C, following on from the butt-ugly s201 and preceding the s203 (blobeye), s204 (hawkeye) etc. They also did s401 and s402 Legacies. [/pedant] They actually made two versions of the bugeye Spec-C (and pre-facelift cars had Type-RA in the name as well), the '17" wheel model' with big brembos, ABS and slightly more comforts and the '16" wheel model' more directly for rally homologation with DCCD/smaller brakes to fit inside gravel wheels/no ABS/smaller fuel tank and a few other differences. Yes please.

That version Spec C had 275ps. It was the same engine carried over from the V6 WRX/STi but with AVCS added for better low down torque. The S202 had a longer wheelbase and extra camber on the front end, lighter glass all round, rear wing etc...) but this time came with 320ps as did all subsequent Spec C's. Out of all the S203/204/206 versions the S202 was IMHO the best and has more in common with later Spec C's than later S versions, apart from the fact it had no DCCD but then that didn't come about till V8 JDM. Not many people remember the V7 Spec C, they tend to remember V8 onwards, but they do remember the S202. ETA: The less said about the S201 the better

Here's mine: I was originally looking for an Evo IV, but then this came up down the road and I thought I should have a look. I was supposed to carry on and have a look at an Evo, but loved the Impreza and the fact it was vaguely practical, so didn't even bother. I've only had the Impreza a few months now, but have collected the parts to get it to around 340 or so BHP.

JollyGrnMonster said: my 03 blobeye sti nearly standard my project car a 98 type R sti lightly modded Hopefully running in the next month or so Simon Been watching your thread for the Green Type R on scoobynet, amazing bit of kit! What wheels are they on the silver blob eye by the way, look like TD Pro Race 3s? I've been after a set of those for my Classic for a while but haven't been able to find any second hand yet, and can't bring myself to spend £450 on a set of bare rims brand new Anyway, onto the pictures, my 1997 UK Turbo 2000, got it for a bargain price, for a big chunk less than a grand I think it's the best value power out there!: Standard at the moment apart from a HKS BOV and mushroom filter and an Argos backbox. Eventual plans are to get it near to 300bhp mark with TD05 turbo and 440 injectors etc, and uprated four pot brakes and suspension to get it ready for a few track days!

This is what you want. It adds down-force too making high speed cornering safer. Jolly, take note for your new toy...
