Correct Fuel...?
Discussion
Wait until your low fuel warning light comes on then fill up with shell V-Power or Tesco Momentum.
The main reason you don't normally want to let your tank go below 1/4 full is that when taking a right hander at speed there is the possibility you could suffer some fuel surge and run very lean briefly, but long enough to do some damage, specially if you're on it.
Very common on trackdays, if you are running some decent rubber and the car is well set up you will almost certainly experience this at some point, and on the road again if you are running decent rubber and the car is well set up, a right hander with negative camber could easily cause you issues.
There is a fuel bag filter in the tank attached to the fuel pump which filters out the big bits of fuel tank crap, and you have a very high quality fuel filter in the engine bay keeping the smallest micron sized particles of crap out of your engine.
If you are doing trackdays then worry about it. If you are just on the road and your car is fairly standard i wouldn't worry too much because it's unlikely to cause you an issue.
