Well I sold the Octavia Rs and have been on the look out for a wrx PPP wagon on about an 04 plate. So far I've spotted one that I liked but it was 2 days before I sold the Skoda so I didn't put a deposit on it and it was sold the next day.

I'm around the oxford area and haven't spotted anything good enough to look at and within about 100 miles. It seems they are pretty scarce! If you spot one please let me know; it is getting cold on my motorbike!

Mine was pretty much the car you're after. Sold it at asking price within a week of putting up the Ad. Lovely cars, they sell fast! Keep looking and you'll find one, just have a cash deposit ready for the right car.

Don't look in my garage, it'll make you cry.

I had already spotted yours. I would have snapped your hand off! SL spec as well :-)

I'm not in a rush which is nice. Ill keep waiting for the right one to come along. If you spot anything let me know.

Cheers.

So I spotted this yesterday:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2012...

Called up and it's got good history and mot and is keenly priced.

I was going to head down this afternoon but it was going to be dark so told the guy could he ring me before they shut and ill come down for 08:30 in the morning. Phones just before closing and was told another potential customer is getting there at 09:30 and they are giving him first refusal. The guy is going to call me to let me know after the guy has been. Not holding out much hope and wish I'd headed over this afternoon.

Oh well, I guess I'll keep looking.

I'd find a standard non-PPP and add the extras yourself via a good mapper, exhaust and filter. It'll likely be cheaper and safer.

I bet it is still there
not a bad price for a 05

Personally I wouldn't have a car that has been muddied other than a known supplier, not joe blogs cos he has a laptop with software on

Have seen far too many failures due to having their car messed with
de-cats without remaps, remaps without proper testing jus t to say I have 300 bhp only for it to blow up

if in doubt get a straight car, 220bhp is still a buzz

I'm not against the buying standard and getting a decent mapper onto it. It is just that the PPP makes the insurance thing a lot simpler and cheaper.

I await the call!

I'm sure it's lovely; too lovely for my muddy mountain bike and climbing gear. 5k is the budget, solely because anything more and i'll worry about it too much.

Thanks for the info though. Those GB270's do look v nice.

Bright green may look good on JGM's monster but that WRX is another thing altogether.

I think 'be brave' is a bit of understatement, how about having 'galactic sized cojones' instead. hehe

Seriously though.....Not anywhere is the mileage mentioned which is a bit of a worry, and for the year it should be pretty much immaculate, which it clearly isn't so i wonder how high the mileage is.

It's not cheap enough either to cover the cost of having it resprayed, and it does look chavved up so from me it has to be a definite NO!! nono

I would advise anyone to run away quickly on the backs of winged horses, close your eyes and do not look back at that abomination otherwise you will be turned into a pillar of rock salt!!

Mileage is around 27k, it says on the ad...

Hopefully the roof scoop is a stick on item but doesnt look to bad (just change the red flaps for black and job done)

I guess we have a different idea on what chavved up is it looks fairly oem (ignoring the flaps/roof intake/stereo
