Sold my Clio today so the hunt for a PPP Wagon is on! If anyone knows of one in the South, let me know...

Love the interior on this one but the price is a bit steep!

7k that's bonkers.
Be careful with that guy.

When that guy was selling the black 05 PPP, I went to have a look at it. The car had lots of wear on the seat and steering wheel which made me question the mileage but I would have let that go as it looked ok. What wasnt OK was the rear end smash it had been in; bent boot floor, bumper brackets...etc. Ive seen CAT D cars with the same damage but it was clear on the HPI.

Just to add, I bought a PPP wagon on the weekend.
Seems straight, its HPI clear.
Needs rear discs.
Otherwise seems to drive straight and makes no funny noises, boosts straight up to 1.1 in 2nd thru 5th.

What's not to like?

My observations so far are:
1. The headlights are woeful. There has to be a way to fix this?
2. The clock isn't working, nor is the dash light dimmer. Presume these are either a fuse or just replacement units?
3. There is a dash light bulb blown. Thinking of doing the convert to red lighting.

Its also about to get some STI seats (I don't find the stock ones all that comfy). I'm also going to do a full brake pad and full fluid change for peace of mind.

Headlights were good on mine, certainly amongst the best non HID ones I've had. Blob eye? Perhaps a polish of the headlight plastic is in order?
The clock should "dim" with the dimmer switch on the left stalk, very disappointing. If it's not on it'll be a fuse like you said, I'd imagine.

The dimmer's on the left stalk? In which case, what is the little knob near the fog lights with 1,2,3 etc on it?

That's the headlight dip level IIRC. The left stalk has a ring on it with "bright" on it, and it's the single least impressive switch I've seen on a car. It makes the 70's digital clock about 20% dimmer, and that's about it.

Hopefully off to see a Hawkeye PPP wagon at the weekend if the seller comes back to me.

Might have to call in a favour to get there, but if it's as described, it's a corker...

Ah ha! I tried last night and the headlight dimmer knob works, the lights go up and down. they're still crap though!

The dimmer stalk on the left also works (seem spointless if you ask me - award for most useless switch ever?) but clock still defunct, so will tackle that at some stage.

Got some almost new rear discs to fit. Thinking I might do all the pads as well. Any suggestions other than pagid blue?

A lot if the lower skirts and splitter can be returned to normal.

Woh! Isn't that bonesetter's car?

Love the STi wagon, Subaru should have continued with that instead of going hatchward.
