hi everyone,
just joined as i m out the loop for a while.i bought a 99 s subaru impreza turbo awd in 2004 it had fsh and was standard,an old boy had it as his prize car.i changed the alloys to 18 " and put a stainless exhaust as the standard one was shot, apart from that it was mint.i have owned it since as a weekend car ,got a company vw,it passes mot every year straight through.3 years ago i took it off road with a view to keeping it for a future classic(romantic).it is sorned and kept in a dry lock up,started every month with occasional runs, still starts first time no blue smoke!however it has gone bad the lock up has been sold by its owner(my current employee)and that is it,no storage!!!i m going to get it mot d and have to sell it : ((((( ,question is how much would something like that fetch and where is a good place to sell it,its only done 74k now by the way and its still mint.only thing is tiny beb on osr w arch not come through and tiny wear through on driver seat bolster otherwise its a beaut.

£2.5k or maybe £3k max. Would probably hold greater appeal on standard 16" wheels.

Edit: has it been serviced since 2004?

Unfortunately they are going for absolutely no money just now. If your lucky you may find someone after a good one with no rust and decent mileage willing to pay what its worth. If not you'll just get raspers wanting it for a grand.

Is there no way of keeping it and finding somewhere else to store it? If not your best bet would probably be the forums, scottish soobies.net and 22b etc.

good luck with it either way.
