There is a hole in the restonator (the mechanic man told me). However, I also reused the old gasket knowing that all the gaskets are being replaced Tuesday (you see, like an excited kid, I couldn't wait until Tuesday to fit the new backbox).

I think the word I would use to describe the volume is, ample, yes, ample...

You can actually feel it indoors... I have a bung which I have used to get the car out of the garage and up the road in the mornings.

It does sound epic when your driving.

Tomorrow it's map time at Surrey Rolling Road. It will be slightly down on top end power given the change from a 3in to 2.5in exhaust, however, it was a bit lacking in bottom end grunt, so this should fix that. I'm also having switchable maps, one with launch, flat shift and what have you...

I bet the neighbours love thathehe

Sounds pretty epic! I have considered going a little louder myself a few times but it is quite loud now. Since owning it i have increased the volume 3 times but my mate who has a garage attached to mine recons its already rattling his jars of nails and screws so louder could see breakages!biggrin

My neighbour has a full Miltek on his ST, and the next neighbour has a Harley, so I figure 'its not just me' wink

Nice Paul, really nice.
Looks great, sounds great. Be very interested in seeing the figures post map.

I'm sooo tempted to put a Vortex on mine, but as I start work at 0500 some mornings (and return home the same time after a nightshift) I can see myself getting lynched by my elderly neighbours...

BTW Thanks for the tip re Extreme Scoobys in my previous post, you were spot on.

They are loud, especially if you keep your car in a garage as that massively amplifies the sound! The Afterburner Raptor comes with a bung, however, I doubt that makes it that quiet (I am yet to try it).

Paul at Extreme is great! His not on Facebook and Forums etc, so often goes unrecognised. But his a straightforward knowledgable chap... He will be rebuilding my engine later in the year...

Changing the exhaust back to 2.5 inch has lost a few horses, but its much better low down and a better drive in my opinion. Engine rebuild latter in the year and an SC46 turbo.

Would have been interesting to have seen what the power was on the previous exhaust and map on the same dyno.
It did far better than I expected with standard downpipe fitted.
