I am surprised to see Mangoletsi offering five year warranty - I think Subaru only offer three years on the STi?
That is correct - from the Subaru web site - WRX STI is covered by the standard 3 Year / 60,000 mile (whichever is sooner) Manufacturer’s Warranty (bumper to bumper, excluding clutch driven plate).HonestIago said:
..and the RB5? Sell or keep it?
KEEP! Will be trading in the fiesta, for what it's worth (not a lot). It's going in for a respray the end of this week. The STi will be a daily driver.
Just received the brochure, now can't decide on a colour. Didn't know they did Grey. Should I have 2 grey cars, or go for the Blue?
Decisions decisions.

Grey or blue...nice dilemma to have. I'd go grey, might pass under the radar (a little!) more and look great next to the RB5

Nothing serious for the respray, it needs the rear arches doing again, also the spoiler needs a smoothing over, and I asked about getting the bonnet done. He said I might as well get the whole lot done which would remove all the car park dings and scratches from it as well. Makes sense really, the arches and spoiler would see the rear doors being blended, and the bonnet would mean the front wings. That only left the front doors and the roof.Grey or blue...nice dilemma to have. I'd go grey, might pass under the radar (a little!) more and look great next to the RB5
Swaying towards the grey now, definitely.

I think waiting for the DIT engine is the best option over the 2.5ltr, on the reviews from the states the 2ltr DIT had better power delivery over the 2.5, should be available next year
Are there any rumours that a 2 litre car will come to the UK ??I spoke to a dealer yesterday, and he didn't seem to think there were any future plans to bring it here.
Personally I wouldn't consider buying a 2.5, but would definitely be up for a 2 litre car that was more efficient and came into a lower Tax band, and there must be lots of other Subaru fans that feel the same way.
Would love another Scooby and will always regret selling my last one.
SBQuattro this isn't deliberately aimed at you (and I'm not trolling) but you just mentioned something that I've thought of before...
Compared to depreciation and fuel consumption (and, in some cases, routine maintenance), VED is a fairly minor cost and is, at least, a known constant. Seems an odd thing to use as a criteria for buying a £30k car!
