i think most Brembo`s have had a helicoil done, one of mine had to have it done when i changed my discs to grooved rolleyes
whats the reason why you want to get it repaired or get a new one? i dont think there is any probs with them being helicoiled smileyou may have some luck on ebay if your after a replacement but they are not cheap mate eek

Good luck

doing some research and yes a lot seem to be helicoiled .my caliper has been on for a few years and no problems with it but I just want to change it as its the only thing on my Subaru that's not perfect.the cost seems very high so I might leave it.i need to get some proper prices.to be honest I would like a brand new one.

Brembo parts are all expensive, from new pads and discs to whole callipers. They do work well, but you pay for having that name on it. To get a new one will cost quite a lot, which is why so many have been helicoiled.

Bembo calipers are well known to be made of chocolate, swopped mine out for tarox, difference is night and day. Still have a set of new carbon Lorraine fast road and track pads going cheap if anyone is ready for a pad change?
