Hi

My car - turbo 2000 with PPP is failing its MOT on emissions.

Having just had the o2 sensor replaced, its dropped down to 0.5% CO. 0.2% Is the pass rate. It was much higher before!

But that means it's still failing. The car runs fine, has been serviced well, so other than a replacement Cat, is there anything else we should try?

The MOT Garage is currently warming up the car (ragging it I presume) to get things red hot before a re-test, but I am not convinced it'll go through.

Any thoughts anyone?

Update - It's not passed. Catalyst is very hot and the best they managed was 0.4%

I think I'm out of options but to fit a new catalyst.

These words of wisdom are often given to "solve" this situation.
Do you know anyone? It's not like they advertise is it...

that said, I'd rather have the car running properly.
