Just curious as to whether anybody is considering a new 2015 Outback ?, subject to a good test drive and approval I may have a lineartronic diesel. The reviews and photos I've seen looking promising....... Hoping to see a car locally next week, there are already a couple on autotrader.

Am disappointed at the weediness of the engine (but I haven't driven one) - had a 2008 diesel outback for four years which was ok and now a 2009 3.0 outback for 8 months - goes well put mpg poor. Don't want to lose 90bhp. A bit concerned at reports of poor ride in the new model but other than that the new model looks good. If they stuck the 2.0t petrol from the forester xt I would be more interested, or at least a more powerful diesel. Not sure the 2.5 petrol is the answer

Have to agree the power units could do with a boost, the D.I.T engine from Forester would have been a great option. I intend to try both fuel variants. I've watched a couple of reviews from the states with the H6 and it seems a fabulous car. Will report back when I've had a look....

My dad is almost certainly going to swap his old Outback for a new one. He'd kill for the H6. Does anyone know a way to import a RHD H6 into the UK. I suspect it would be worth the hassle.
