Will be later when the warranty expires, my mate from oz is returning soon and he is a Scooby guru (which helped me decide to go back to one) but if he opens another garage and can do the warranty work then will be a lot sooner!

Spoke to Subaru in Havant this morning regarding exhaust, they say it will only affect the warranty on what the exhaust effects, not sure on that one!

Ive been getting the same responses - its a shame Japan has said no to the Pro-R340 up-grade for the 2015 (when they've been fine with previous models on the same engine!!)

Whens your mate over????

Arrives back on the 25th mate.

Been thinking about putting a cut out in the exhaust, had one in my ute and it was perfect for the best of both worlds, if my mate can do warranty work when he is set up then I'll have no problem 😉

current thinking is to just change the air filter to a K & N set-up.

I don't believe this revokes the warranty and it does give a power boost!!

Removed the rear silencers yesterday to see what it would sound like, they are horrendous things! Sounds great with them off, so my next move will be having surgery done to them, should be able to make them still look stock with any luck!

Had a bit of free time today so decided to have a bit of a mess around, I separated the silencers from the rear pipe, put some washers in and bolted back on, not something I would do on a permanent basis but was for a test on how good it would sound if my silencers were gutted and a pipe welded through the middle, I only have my faceache link so not sure if it will work.

I'm getting a custom "Muffler Delete" similar to the nameless and ETS set up. It gets fitted next week so will keep you posted with the results!

Exhaust is on and sounds fantastic!
Nice low rumble at low revs and roars at higher revs with a few pops and bangs on overrun thrown in for good measure!

It's a custom system based on the namesless and ets "axel back muffler delete" set up but with 4" single wall quad tips.

It's a bit big and a big loud but that's fine by me biggrin
