I have a Jdm Gt Spec B with the two litre turbo engine that puts out 280 bhp, it's a 2004 estate and has arrived in Southampton for UK prep. Let me know if you are interested
Hmm, I might be, but no funds until end of December, which might be too late......one concern though, I've read on some sites that these 2 litre turbos can be troublesome, compared with the less stressed 3 litre Sec B engine. Is this correct?

I'm in my 8th year of twinscroll turbo ownership, with no problems at all.

The earlier twin turbo was trouble free too, but, I wouldn't have one again.

I think with regular maintenance and high octane fuel these cars will last as well as anything else. Good think about the majority of Jdm cars is that the local owners generally don't skimp on maintenance. For example the cambelt on this car was changed quite early.
In my opinion this is the most desirable engine in a legacy, it's smart, practical and tons of potential for modification.

Ahhh, mmmm something quite not right there!! Very sorry. It's having a few bits sorted and will be uk registered soon. Will get some new photos of it soon.

I am just gutted that I couldn't register and drive it in HK due to tight emission standards here. Will be letting it go for 7k.

I have a 56 plate Spec B Auto.

I've run it for three years and it's now up to about 70,000 miles. I keep thinking that 25mpg and £500VED is a pain, but in truth I do very few miles, and this makes them more fun.

I like the Q car part about it, it will get going if you want; and flapping the paddles in sport mode is good fun. My wife says the ride is awful, but it doesn't worry me. It's a nice place to be if you're doing a couple of hundred miles up the motorway, or running late down an A road.

Worth trying one. Solid build quality, my only problem is squeaky brakes due to a sticky rear caliper piston. Serviced at a local indy here in banbury.

Ha mine also had squeeky rear brakes from a stuck caliper. Had a Subaru indy fix it and change all discs and pads and install HEL braided lines. HUGE HUGE difference in braking now. Makes the whole driving experience so much better.
