Possibly a silly question, but where is Albany??

Hi I would buy a code reader and see if it's throwing up any engine codes , they are around 15£ , if not alarm immobiliser ?

Is the engine turning over and not firing or nothing happening at all ?

Thought it might be. - as you're in the USA you could try posting on NASIOC for recommended garages as that's a US Subaru forum.

I'd second the fault code reader - they can be bought of eBay cheaply enough and I think the Tribeca has an ODB port under the steering wheel.

Unlikely to be alarm , code reader time , could be a number of things
