Where would your £45k go?

Which one will be the first to hit £75k? (not counting the mentalist asking prices like the yellow Evo 2 up for £89k!!!)

The Integrale will likely appreciate the fastest.

However, the Subaru will likely be cheaper to maintain, and it looks a bit more special imo.

I would 100% choose the Subaru.

I think the 22B has a good shout of outstripping the Delta one day. Mainly because they built 12,000 Integrale Evos (Evo1 and 2 combined) versus 400 22Bs. How many of those are left?

None of them will be worth much if you drive them - which somewhat negates the point.

RS500 Cosworths still command big numbers with 90,000 miles on the clock.

I was fortunate to run a very nice Evo 2 some years ago. Brilliant though it was, it was ridiculously expensive to keep on the road, repairs being a constant theme, usually at great expense. The car was too nice not to drive and unfortunately this was the cars downfall as they can start to look very tired in no time at all. Keeping the bodywork looking fresh was a nightmare as they are prone to rust in a couple of difficult to repair locations. Eventually I sold the car at a tidy profit over the original price but in reality it didn't cover a fraction of the upkeep. Incredible car to drive despite being rather slow by modern hot hatch standards.

I did recently look at buying one again as a garage queen, with a bit of patience I think you could land a really nice example for under £30k - no way would I go above £40k unless it was a mint Final Edition. Dealers gave me the impression that plenty of room for negotiation existed.

Certainly, they don't seem to be selling very fast at £45k.

I really like the Integrale's but I would have to choose the 22b, in fact if I won the euro millions and was building a car collection it would be a priority purchase for me

Harry Metcalf's yellow Evo 2 is for sale at £54k, anyone know why he decided to sell it? Or perhaps he only bought it to make a few quid?

Out of the 400 only 16 were official UK models, are you looking for one of those?

Actually I'd rather have a fresh Japanese import. I've got a chance to bag one if I'm quick but I can't get that wretched Delta out of my head, plus I already have an Evo VI TME so the Integrale would be a bit more different and LHD would be perfect for trips to Europe.
