Have you tried changing the battery in the remote and then trying to unlock it by holding the remote under the dash? Some of these cars have a problem when they're near a phone tower, it drowns out the signal from the remote and the car won't start.
Alternatively, there should be a key pad in the glove box. If you have the alarm paperwork there'll be a disarm code.
