the time has finally come to replace the exhaust on my '07 outback 3.0. the local powerflow seems to get positive comments, and they can do me a "quiet" or "slightly sporting" I would quite like a bit more exhaust note than the standard provides, but it it likely that a "slightly sporty" will drone or wake the neighbours - anyone experience of power flow pipes with the H6 motor?

I know of two people with systems from powerflow, they are happy with them gives a nice quiet sound below 3k then it starts to get a bit more vocal without being too obtrusive,
I'd contact a couple of franchises, as although they have identical systems there was about 100 quid difference in initial quotes between the two dealers ?

I'm going to put a custom power flow one on mine when I get around to it. They can indeed tailor it to fit the sound you want and the 3.0 does sound superb when unshackled - very Porsche-like as you'd expect.

Or a tailored Hayward & Scott system. They're based in Basildon, Essex. They got it just right on my Forester as wanted it slightly quieter than their normal system
