On the surface looks excellent. However the more I looked at the pictures the more t looks to me like the front end is the wrong shade of red. Also the front calipers are silver not red as they should be.

I've messaged the seller and he answered some but not all of my questions. He's away and the is at his garage so didn't have access to the history. He's owned it since Christmas but it's a bit too shouty in colour scheme and noise for his wife and kids. Advert states it's because he's bought a boat.

Not wishing to do the seller a disservice if he's genuine but I can't shake off the feeling this as bought damaged, has been patched up and is now being punted on. His eBay selling history isn't littered with cars though.

What's you guys thoughts on this one?

Calipers shouldn't be red. The rears have been painted. The fronts look like they are new non-oem replacements (very common). Anyway, the stock brakes are marginal at best.

Wheels are wrong (STi not WRX)

Intercooler scoop is wrong (STi not WRX)

NO pics of engine bay

NO mechanical info yet he's owned 7 imprezas previously?

Paint does look lighter but it may just have had a blow-over due to road rash etc - I know mine badly needs doing.

PPP is not really worth paying much of a premium for (although nice to have) so I think he's being very ambitious with the price.

Need to have a look in person though and give it a proper going over.

I think I'll leave this one then. Not getting good vibes and it's a 3 hour round trip to go and look at it.

It's an 05 Facelift model so calipers were red out the factory along with updated dash/steering wheel. Fronts have been replaced as you say, rears most likely original.
