Changing 3 pin idle control valve to 6 pin stepper motor

Hi I have a 1997 turbo 2000 that I have done an engine conversion on. It now has a 1999 Impreza type r engine in. I have fitted everything without much altering but I'm stuck with the stepper motor. On my old loom from the turbo 2000 it has a 3 pin connector on the wiring loom but I have a 6 pin stepper motor rather than the 3 pin idle control that's on the old engine. Can anybody help me with the wiring so that I can use the stepper motor with my 3 wires? Hopefully I've explained it ok. :-)
