Yeah I know that's an option. I'd just prefer a car with some UK providence and the basic things already done.
If it helps mine was a fresh grade 4 import. Lad i got it from only had it a few months, then bought a MK2 FRS. Soon as it landed he fitted new discs, pads and Goodridge hoses. Gates kevlar timing belt, new rollers and tensioner, Whiteline f+r roll bars, Ultra Racing strut braces with set up.
Then had Prodrive sports cat, stainless mid section and Bob Rawle remap.
He spent all that money then wanted a change. It has all the mods done to it that i would have done to a new import, i just saved quite a bit by buying it already done smile

And here it sits all week frown first world problem having multiple vehicles !

thanks for the offer, but for the little amount I use it, I'm not sure if I'd ever sell. don't think I'd find another one as nice as this. if it wasn't this sat in the garage, it would only be something else ! smile

Fair enough. You know where I am anyway.

I think that white would be my only option in that case.

Yeah seen that one. Not a fan of the facelift. The greys/silver just look like every other car on the road and the blue is too shouty.

Nice

How do find the rotational balance with that bar combo? (over/understeer)

I run a 24 rear on middle setting and 99% of the time is fine with a slight balance towards provokeable oversteer. Was considering beefing up the front bar

Truthfully ? Couldn't say. I have not driven it in anger yet. Done less than 1k miles in it this year, including 200 mile trip home when i collected it ! Straight line speed shows over 160mph on the clocks. Handling is quite firm. The only other time i have been out in it, i've had the wife or daughter in it and they dont like fast driving frown waiting for some good weather and a weekend alone smile

Going to have the wheels refurbed slightly darker than standard and maybe swap the PF pads that are on as they dont feel right. Maybe need more heat in them to bring the best out of them because initial bite isn't that great.

Bones - you'll find if you beef up the front, the car will tend towards neutral/understeer depending on how beefy you're talking? If you like how it is now, I'd suggest, with an uprated front bar for the 'soft' setting up front, and going for the tight setting in the back, keeping the balance somewhere rear of centre. Your mileage, naturally may vary.

I too will be in the wheel refurb business soon - I'm a bit bored of looking at black black BLAAAAAAACK all the time, so quite fancy going for 'shadow chrome' on the wheels

Something like this, or slightly darker would be perfect. Reckon it would work on the white as well.

Yeah, pretty much what I was thinking/hoping with a say a 22 up front and then can tweak on swapping holes (ooh er)

I like the rotation bang under the driver's seat smile

I've just had the wheels refurb'd by a mobile - basically a rub down and primer, few coats of paint and lacquer - £200

I hear you, I like mine in the rear seats, but then on the standard roll-o-matic setup that's just a hard prod with a stick away.

Your wheels look great, did you get the option to choose a colour/shade? I don't suppose you could forward contact details for the one you used?

Cheers, and do you know the region your guy works in?

I've also had a contact from MDMA with a guy in Preston which is reasonably handy. Someone on my driveway would be even handier. I can get on with some making shiny with the wheels off!

I just did a bad thing:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...

Picking it up on Friday. Excited. No doubt I will be plaguing you fellas for advice. Car was imported two years ago by a 62 year old guy who has done about 3000 miles in it since but serviced it three times anyway. Bodes well I hope. Wish me luck.
