Forester STI bhp
Discussion
Ok, just picked up the car and drove it 200 miles home. All good but a couple of questions:
- The car is running the pink sti springs. How do these compare to oem? I'm guessing it's sitting a little lower but wondered how much? Ride seems reasonably good.
- Is wind noise around the wing mirror area normal above 60 or so? I'm not sure it is the mirrors - may be the aero strip which runs along the door frame.
- the guy was trying to communicate something to me but I couldn't take it in; something about the ecu switching to a more conservative mode when the fuel drops below a certain level? Any ideas what he was on about?
Thanks folks. Photos when she's mopped.

I've no garage space, my E-Types and the WR1 take priority or else I would have had an Sti Foz already .... Will still have a look as I pass this week, I'm in Grassington in the Dales, if your ever passing through let me know, the kettles always on..........Freds said:

Thanks folks. It was the gussets combined with tired door seals. Refurbishing in progress.

Looking good Macky
Pink springs are STi and as said they give more roll, really being too soft for the amount of lowering they provide
Roll isn't too bad really (for what it is) and I'm really enjoying the compliance and comfort - almost WRX-like. An uprated rear arb should compensate nicely I would have thought. On the list...Pink springs are STi and as said they give more roll, really being too soft for the amount of lowering they provide

I agree, my Son and I had a look at this over the weekend, it has the makings of a stunning car, the alloys need a refurb and its screaming out for a buff and a good detailing, again it's too much money but I have the urge to own one now so I will keep looking, would prefer a white one.

If its any motivation, here's how I got mine for the weekend, do bear in mind, mine is daily driven and a long way from perfect! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...
and a bit of a reflection shot!
