Forester 2.5 XT 2004-2008

I've owned my 2005 Forester 2.5XT from 2008 to now, covering 85k of its 125k miles.
It's a brilliant car to own and drive. It just does everything asked without ever skipping a beat.
Only maintenance outside of schedule has been drop links at 92k miles...and that's it!
The pre-facelift 2.5XT was rated 208bhp but same 236ft/lb torque as post facelift. I can tell you there is NO performance difference and Web myth suggests Subaru just understated power so not to tread on the wrx which was still running the 2.0T lump at the time.
