I'm thinking of a change from my last two sets of Bridgestones S001's (~£90ea) which while stella performers and stiff sidewalled which I like, only seem to last 6K miles (:

i don't track the car but a rough estimate of 20 to 25 k miles , i some times rotate , my wear even with it set up well is the front inner edge of the tyres , this improved when coilovers were fitted , the wear even if guessed by me is way better than 6 k but i don't pay a lot of attention to it , some times a soft tyre is a trade off on grip v a harder tyre , but i still think the kuhmos work well they appear to be a good all rounder and better priced and appear to last longer

Quick update if anyone finds this thread in the future.

Kumhos are on and have been for a couple of weeks now, certainly no complaints. A little quieter than what I had before which were somed Asian brand.

The grip however is fantastic, certainly gives more confidence and had a spirited drive through the Forest of Dean with plenty of water on the road with no issues.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed, very happy with the end result. Exhaust next :-)
