My mistake, thought you'd mentioned a while back you weren't keen on PPG.

Had a quick look. Not a cheap box by any stretch. I've just seen a 5spd on motorsport sales for £3.5K. Nice!! smile

True...But just think of the fun you'll have trying to break it. Looks built to last, hope the fun does too. smile

I have been manic with work so not had chance to do anything on the car myself.

In the mean time Stew and Ian have done a fair bit. The clutch hub for the carnetic clutch I use I bought a replacement to match the new larger input shaft on the new box. Unfortunatly because the input shaft is machined to mount to an impreza flywheel but isnt an impreza diameter we have a minor issue with the clutch hub.
Have a solution but only 80% happy with it. Talking with carbonetic about them possibly making a one off for it, either that or I have to change to a different make of clutch but the current one has been very good and so when something works I try not to change. This is delaying box fitment.

In the meantime another gearbox has been fitted to ensure the engine is in the correct position and Stew has cracked on with making the manifolds for the new turbos smile

If in doubt chop it out. Do you get much heat entering the engine bay from those turbos or is it just being sucked out and underneath the car. I expect you have great airflow through the bay.

Couple of hours spent today, swapped lens about to reveal the new billet gt30 high beams

Will add mesh filters to keep small animals and children being sucked into the turbos smile

I have four filter options, will test all four and perhaps change depending on what I am doing with the car.
