Small update

Comfy seat installed, needs to come back out for access space and bolts shortenned but drilled and fits.



Scuttle fitted and bonnet pins fully installed

Dash now secured etc

Started fitting Roof strips

I do tend to do that. My last race car if it hadnt been used that week often did the takeaway run at the weekend.
May have more trouble with this one keeping the take away from being coated about the inside of the car.

That would be rob waklins (wrxbart) car.

Mine is tucked up in surrey still.

His is vw metalic green but does look similar.

Just needs soldering to lights, relays, switches and power lol
Not that you can see much of it

Battery mounted.


Spare svx engine dropped back in for mockup purposes

I have made chassis mods but not because of the engine.

I have cut away as much as possible and replaced with chromolly to aid weight though

That was the orignal plan to mount it under the rear. But decided extra water, extra pipes, extra pump all added weight, all be it in the right place.

Its something I might consider in future.

Managed to get the gearbox in and the inlet manifold on today. All just mock up to make pipework and fuel/oil/water lines etc.
