Revelations of the Pyramids

Ever since I was a kid I have been fasinated with the Pyramids and other ancient structures around the world, how they where made, who made them and the standards to which they where built.

Anyway I recently found a documenty that some of you may be interested in. If you want, as a taster, start the clip at 51.35 and watch for about 15 minutes to give you an idea of what the documentry is about. Some of the figures and measurements involved are incredible, for example the Egptian unit of measurement 'The Cubit'.

I know it's a long documentry but when I first watched it I was only going to give it about 5 minutes and I got hooked.

I was looking into so ram pump theory today.
It looks interesting, but overall a lack of motives to build a number of huge gravitational pumps of various sizes next to each other.

I believe there is going to be more info published soon about that door like panel with the pins in, where they sent the robot and drilled through.

The Lounge is the right place for the "woo woo" topics, in my opinion. I'd like to keep this forum - now that we have it after a long period of lobbying - for relatively serious science discussion.

Haven't got time to watch videos at the moment so you had better explain teh "science" contained in the video.

As I recall last time we had a scientific pyramids debate it was about whether the granite blocks could have been cut with copper tools. If I remember correctly (apologies if I'm mixing up people) Westy was expounding the theory that they had to have been cut with iron, or similar. I strongly disagreed and found a paper which seemed to support my view.

Haven't watched the video from the OP yet. I'm always wary of any ancient Egypt related documentaries...
