Knowing my luck for it would be cloudy on the day.

Caught the last full one in the UK. OK, bit cloudy and damp but by eck, it was still an experience.

I just took this from wiki,

"20 March 2015
An eclipse which is total across the north Atlantic including the Faroe Islands will result in a large partial eclipse across the UK, greater than 80% everywhere. While the line of totality will nowhere touch land in the United Kingdom, it will pass less than ten kilometres to the north-west of the island of Rockall."

I live in South Wales so does this mean I'll get to see some sort of event?

According to this link, you should get 86% obscured:-

You might get 100% if it is cloudy!
