Managed to see this one. Nice to see a launch that doesn't blow up.

United Launch Alliance has delayed the Delta 4 launch 24 hours to Thursday, at 8:07 p.m. EDT. High winds at the launch pad have delayed preparations sufficiently that they can't be ready for the required launch window.

The Indians are launching a satellite very shortly. Finding a live link was difficult but I have this one -

Proton M today with a new Inmarsat KA-Band communications satellite on board.

Live linky: http://www.inmarsat.com/service/global-xpress/

Last launch didn't go so well so I expect there will be a fair few clenched buttocks in mission control today biggrin

Probably better for my career prospects if this does go well as the company I work for is developing a "broadband" Internet system for aircraft that will use these satellites.

Yeah, didn't really go to town with the filming did they. I'm sure I watched another Inmarsat launch, albeit quite some time ago, where there was footage from on-board the actual rocket so you could see the stages separate etc.

Never mind, at least it didn't blow up, though that would have made it a bit more interesting laugh
