Sagan said that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence; I disagree, they require the same level of evidence, but if it's a fairly mundane claim I may just accept it, without evidence.

So just to clarify so that I understand the situation......

UFO's only talk to NASA?

They don't talk to normal people, just NASA.

Hmmmmm. Space debris and it's odd in one part of the film the two elements/space ships/people with big eyes were mirroring each other......almost exactly.

Perhaps they should join the Red Arrows whilst they're visiting our humble planet yes

I find the presentation of these videos almost as interesting as the footage itself. Personally, I think it's just debris or ice and it's the angle that makes it appear to be "leaving Earth", as there's a tonne of similar footage from previous missions. Putting in phrases like "leaves Earth" and "NASA cuts feed" is just fitting it to the context of the YouTube channel in the hope it goes viral.

Few examples of debris footage :-

Antares launch

Here's footage from Shuttle mission STS-75, interestingly re-published only a few days ago by the same YouTube channel as the footage in Metro, even though it dates from 1996 and has been up on YouTube for years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kinRix7sPE0

No cutting of the feed there, despite far more "objects" in the footage and for far longer.

Yet more footage, this time from STS-114 :-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci7-b3LZD_w

Absolute tonne of images and video Here|https://archive.org/details/nasa?and[]=mediatype%3A%22movies%22.

Doesn't strike me as the actions of an agency scrambling to keep things secret.

The Metro video is just space debris or ice dressed up in suggestive X-Files language to generate web traffic. YouTube is full of sub-David Icke "secret footage" channels doing the same thing.

Fascinating.

Although why NASA cut the feed after the incident is a real mystery. Because the feed would have been on some sort of lag and much like 'live' radio, there'd be a 10 second delay or the like.

So then if NASA did know we have regular visitors then for sure they would be more attentive with the 'cut feed' button.
"Cut the feed" indeed. If you watch that HDEV feed for any length of time, it always drops out while switching cameras, or when it drops under the horizon, or sometimes it just does. And no aliens in sight.
Looked like water droplets inside the housing to me, but then I'm a simple person.

Space junk. Only interesting if they change course, which they don't.
Its moving fairly quickly is it not...

There is no way of knowing how fast it is actually moving because -

a) we don't know how far away it is

b) we don't know how big it is

c) we can't even be sure what its actual trajectory is

Here's a question... Lets just say Nasa / the government knew there was something "out there"

Would they tell us?

Why pick on NASA? It's not the only government run space agency in the world.

Probably. They do not have a monopoly on the sky and imagine someone else piping them at the post to the "is ET real" question.

Don't forget about Billy-Bob-Jo and his cow.

My main thought was that "MISTER ENEMA" needs to change his font.

I find it amusing that some people assume NASA/the government have far greater capability that has been revealed.

Much like when there is a missing plane the media wonders why the NSA don't have a live satellite watching every living person in real time... FFS :-)

NASA and "The Government" are like teachers at school- they are at most one page ahead in the text book, often only the same page as us mere mortals.

The first concrete evidence of UFO's (of intelligent origin) will be when one lands in Time Square and green men climb out.

In the mean time we are more likely to detect aliens by looking at extra solar planets and seeing one at night with the lights on or in the midst of a nuclear war that "catch" a sneaky alien flying into Las Vegas for a stag party.

And an awful lot of fools think that NASA is some massively funded enormous government agency with unlimited resources at its disposal. The only accurate part of this assumption is that it is a government agency.

It's also foolish to dismiss it out of hand; it's plausible to hypothesise there are visitors observing us, as we observe penguins in the antarctic, but it's just speculation without evidence.
I would go for observing in the same way we look at other planets. If someone was to say they are in orbit, then that needs a good bit of evidence, though rather improbable rather than impossible.

But what evidence I see put forward by the usual suspects, does not present a case to back them up. I will accept what is presented if it is a capable bit of work. That is the problem.

The proponent says its fishy and they are hiding something. There is a reasonable explanation, that explanation does not fit the proponents agenda, so I am a shill at the very least and a sheeple among other things and blind to obvious black ops helicopters and other cobblers dreamt up to back up that the gubbmint is hiding something.

Agree.

The interesting aspect to me, is how the world would react if it became apparent we do have visitors. On the one hand, I don't think mankind is ready (just think about the massive impact on religion); on the other hand I wouldn't trust a government to deal with it sensibly, because politics attracts fallible megalomaniacs who think they can control things they can't. Much better it was out in the open, I think.
I think the world would get on with its life. Many many people on Earth have bigger issues to occupy them with, such as finding food for the next day. Religion is something that can live with it, his popeiness has already decreed that if ET is real then it fits in with his deities plan. Or rather the vatican released a statement through their chief astronomer a few years ago. I expect the same for the other beliefs.

But yes, imagine the US contempt for the government of Andorra when ET decides to land there to say "Hi!".

Mind you, there will no doubt be some absolutely cringing speeches made to the visitors, one hopes that they like politicians. On a stick with some apple sauce.

If I may, this is an interesting site. Hence I will go for debris over ET.

Look at the GEO image, you can see the geosynchronous stuff, that is where your satellite TV comes from. Or rather it is relayed from there.
