So, this is in Science! not News.

The question is, how much TNT would you need to accomplish this? It's a fair old mass to shift and the pyramid shape isn't going to help you.

I assume you'd want to try and blow it up from inside to make it collapse in on itself but the narrow entrance and capacity will be prohibitive.

6.5m tons of rock to shift, I think a nuke from outside wouldn't do it as the shockwave would be dissipated too much through the surrounding space, would need to be huge to cause it to collapse, then you have the logistics of getting it in the air and dropping it on top.

So how would you do it?
