Actually, what ever happened to Gary McKinnon? Claimed to have hacked into US government computers, was appealing against extradition... claimed to have found evidence of alien technology.

I always assumed he was playing the role of nut-job (by claiming he'd found alien tech) to discredit himself so that the US authorities would go easier.

I never said that the bird was glowing. I've seen non-glowing birds on quite dark nights (and I'm referring to the feathered variety).

I know, I'm just being facetious. Sorry.

It is a constant claim and one that is never backed up, at least with real facts. I think the main proponents need to milk it for all it is worth, I bet that if ET went to a senior woomiester with proof from another world, the woomiester will hide that evidence. I mean, all those books that have been printed have to be sold first.

I've never witnessed what I could think might be an alien craft (I've seen stuff in the sky but nothing too crazy), but I know people who have, real nuts'n'bolts engineers types, not flighty alien nuts.

Who knows. D:

I saw something similar over the south Coast a few years ago when sat out in the garden during the preside meteor shower period one August. Thought to myself there's a very high flying Chinese lantern coming on the westerly breeze, didn't think much more of it, but after 5-10 minutes thought blimey that's burning for long time and very high. Then it did a virtual 90 degree turn towards the north and carried on. Definitely not a free floating jobby, not got a clue what it was though.

If you know the date and time they might be able to tell you the height and speed of your 'light'.

There is a contact button on the page above.

Clearly this isn't the explanation of what you saw but your post reminded me of the weird way Mars orbit is seen from Earth - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbynKfNfHk4

From what I understand he started to download an image from their servers and someone pulled the plug before it had time to finish (yeah, right). So what it shows is a blurry blob in the sky.

Get that sometimes in Wales when the sky is not a whole grey smudge. Not Welsh is he?

I find it quite disturbing that the light you saw was red. To me this would indicate a tie fighter or something of that nature from the dark side, whereas a green light would of probably been something nice like an x wing and anybody saying otherwise is clearly a Sith lord/apprentice.
Remember there are always 2 Sith, master and apprentice, and Eric has already revealed his 'dark' side, trying to explain away the appearance of tie fighters in our galaxy as 'birds' in his menacing and dark fashion.
Which means another Sith chooses to keep his identity masked.Tread carefully in your quest for knowledge op and next time you are studying the heavens should you sight something resembling a 3/4 built moon - leg it.

Tie Fighters are not red! Their lasers are, but that's it. The airframe is grey and black.

NICE TRY, NON BELIEVER!
