You might be able to go back and not interact
I quite like this idea, to go back in time you need to go faster than light and tachyons are theoretical particles that can do that but cannot interact with anything. We might be surrounded by ftl time tourists and not see them; although they probably all went to the 60's because it's more fun.
The not interact bit is harsh though. I did put more in the post, but took it out because it was already too long an wordy.

Not interact means not intercepting any photons. Not affecting the orbits of any electrons etc. So you couldn't see anything, or touch anything. In fact you couldn't sense anything.

Stuff about time travel
This is what I was trying to say about the book. The past get erased and the futures not written yet.

There might be a major migrant problem.

There is a film, 'Disaster in Time', that I reckon described the use time travel would have been put.

People from the future go back to specific disasters to enjoy the horror of it all. Rather ironically, in the film these voyeuristic voyagers are criticised for being morbid but isn't that what we were doing in viewing the film, let alone the producer in making money from it?

If it was possible somebody would have come from the future to see us.
If time travel into the past where possible, you could only go back to the moment the machine/method was created.

As we haven't invented one yet.............. smile
