Had a look up earlier this evening and managed to see a quite bright satellite heading north to south. No shooting stars though.

Ursid shower peaks tonight. Has a fairly low hourly rate and the moon is going to be strong so you would need to be in a dark sky.


Would originate from Ursa Minor which is pretty easy to find if you have a compass as Polaris is part of it and thats due North.
