Yes - it was a dud from the start.

Heavens-above are showing its track on their front page as opposed to the ISS at the moment.

Great. Weather is out to get me. I have a new light pollution filter as well which is probably why it is awful outside.

Skies have cleared a bit here in North Hampshire so hopefully will get another good view.

I'm nearish to you Eric, the NASA tracking page is down, is it the same appearing in the SW and disappearing in the west track like last night?

Yes - although it should be closer to the direct overhead this time.

Watch it fade away not long after it passes overhead as it enters the earth's shadow.

I guess on board they're getting ready to receive their visitors - assuming Atlantis takes off on time this week.

Had a good showing Sat night, Iss rose in the west and brightened to almost overhead. Good night too (been a while) to get out as the skies displayed extremely good transparency, good to have the moon so dim for a change too.
All in all top nights observing.

Theory was to try a timed exposure to get it crossing the field of view in the scope and hope for a show up on the image. Must apologise for the weather, too many grand plans for the passes planed.
