Wow! What a pass. The sky is amazingly clear tonight. The moon looks great, even SWMBO commented on what a great sky it is tonight.

That was a lovely sight last night as it zipped past the Moon & Venus, its just been over again, though its a little cloudy in the SW so just a faint whisp of it.

That was an amazing sighting. Venus, Jupiter and the ISS in the night sky. When is it back?

Over the next couple of days ATV3 should be visible approaching the ISS - downside is that the visible passes are around 04:20 am :-(

I'm on holiday on the north coast of Anglesey and just saw a lovely pass coming over the Irish sea. A perfectly clear sky and it was as bright as Venus all the way.

I just walked out onto the decking and there it was smile

Should be good tonight;
-3.4 starting at 21:35:51 in the West and in view for over 5 minutes.

Cheers! By sheer fluke I checked the thread just one minute before it arrived and had a c. 3 min view as it rose almost directly over the house as it moved from west to east. Highest pass I've seen and luckily broke through the low cloud cover so had chance to watch through binoculars but too weedy (8x30) to see any detail, sadly. Must get a decent pair.

Same as me - just thought I'd check the timings and realised a pass was actually happening. I have a pair of 40 x 50s and you can make out the fact that it is not just a point of light.

Fabulous pass. There appeared to be another object following at about four o'clock to the ISS. Anyone see it and know what it was?
