I managed that much, I was watching it on the screen as well as in the sky. Most of the settings baffle me though, plus the random trails that appear on the screen. Maybe I need to visit the UFO thread.I checked with Stellarium for last night's pass and I noticed that Envisat was making a pass more or less in the direction you described. It was too cloudy and hazy to see Envisat from where I was - but the ISS was prety clear.
We are due quite a few good passes over the next week or so.

Thanks for that, I'm afraid Stellarium is a bit complicated for thickos like me. Off to the boozer tonight so will be sitting outside and watching the pass though as it starts at 22:52 I may well see more than one.mattviatura said:
