Yes I'm bored, how many of us work on our own cars? No matter how big or small let's see em...

I load this one up with the tools I need for the job to take out to the car...

Only picture I have of my car toolbox:

The rest of the garage is full of woodworking tools where I generally just turn expensive wood into sawdust as a hobby.

This is where the most important bits are

It lives under the black wooden hat on next to the spade

I have another box with the bigger stuff in and like to keep these handy

I have a vast collections of tools (or "ste" as my mrs calls them), from my days as a sparks, acquired from my late father's vast collection & various other ventures.

Things I reeeeeely need are (in no particular order):

Anvil
Pillar Drill
Chop saw for metal

Some nice kit there Mr Buzz smile

I should add to my list a tool cabinet like you have. Trouble is, I need them to be higher than normal.

I could make my own frame out of uni-strut though.

What is a good budget make?

Strongman tools sell them, about £1500. they will lift 3000kg so they will easily lift a 7 series BMW... really useful bit of kit!

Found it - £1800 but also needs an air compressor so about £2k all in - too late for the Chrstmas pressie list though!
