That is lovely, good on you.

I had the snap on evolution green and black roll cab but sold it to fund another venture.

Must resist!

Just getting in to home tinkering, so got some Halfords specials. Will replace with decent tools as and when they break! Done the screwdrivers already hehe

Late to party (no contents pictures)

It's about 20 years old now and replaced about 4 cantilever tool boxes that I could never find the tool I wanted without going thro all of them, ok it's not a snap on but nothing has broken or failed, it is however fading to a nice pink colour

A expensive week for me.

First was my 9 drawer top box
Second was a 100 piece blue point set

This is mine:

Nearly as good as a snap-on, but not quite biggrin

It did cost me absolutely nothing though!

I`m now retired and this is where I play. When I first started buying tools 48yrs ago a mechanic`s tool box cost us apprentices two shillings (10p) a week.Being an old fart I used to joke, when I first started to employ a mechanic, that his tool chest was worth more than my first house.By the time I retired the chest was worth more than my second house.
I hope you guys have those snap on kits properly insured?? My business was burgled and we lost TWO snap on chests and a load of other stuff,F!!!* night mare.
Fantastic! Do you have any more info (or a link) on the 2 grey / black floor standing units? They look to be just the thing I'm after!

I do have a small tool chest aswell, but I find the cantilever box more convenient at the moment:

Also the lack of space discourages me from buying more tools. (Yeah right)

Some of you guys have WAY too much stuff.

This is how it all starts. Made my own toolbox.

Set of ratchet spanners up to 19mm, pliers, screwdrivers, cutters, everything I need.

Named.

Got this as well but not really a toolbox as such. The little rusty box is all I need and is kept in the boot smile

Making yourself a woodburner? Always wondered how people safely cut gas bottles in half? Fill them with water somehow?
