I recently purchased the jack linked below, Its very good but not very manoverable as its quite heavy but it will lift a rangey without breaking sweat smile

Have a look at the Irimo CH2000Z
Not very well known make (Made in Spain IIRC, they do make tools for Snap-On) but I spent a long time looking at different jacks and have been using this for two years now.

It is ridiculously low at its lowest, lower than all of the aluminium "racing" style jacks, has the longest reach of any 2 tonne I've seen, lifts really quite high. Has a foot peddle to raise it rapidly and a big fat rubber pad. Appears to be very well built and has stood up to severe abuse problem free.
I got one for £160. Only downside of it being so chunky is it weighs a bloody tonne.
