Hello all. I need a small oil pump to fill a gearbox which has a fill plug in an awkward position. I come across this Draper product which I thought would do the job perfectly and its reasonably priced, unfortunately I read the reviews and apparently they are renowned for leaking. Also I need an 8mm hex key identical to the one below, can anyone tell me where I can buy one without having to buy an entire set? I know I can buy a similar type from Halfords but it comes attached to a socket from which it cannot be removed.

InfoRetrieval said: I have the same one, mines gone a bit rusty from using it for coolant and brake fluid though. The pipe that came with it was a bit rubbish so I use a bit of fuel hose.

Once you have the plug removed, an old piece of hosepipe into the filler hole and you can fill whilst stood beside the car.Just need the filling end of the pipe higher then the gearbox filler level.
