haldane / pigrim3000 gearbox removal'

has any one had experience of removing gearbox from haldane hd300. i have suffered a core plug failure ,and because of chassis rail below gearbox i dont think i can remove box from below car. there might even be problems removing engin e and box complete due to restricted bonnet space . might have to be a body of job any ideas or experiences please. thanks allan
