Clio starting problem

I have a 2000 Renault clio 1.4s It had a misfire issue which is now sorted as I have replaced the coil pack and ignition leads. Now it has had an issue previously when starting from hot it wont start at all leave it 5 miniutes starts fine and purs like a kitten. My idea was damaged battery but waiting to get my multimete back to double check. Any other ideas?

Most likely the Crank sensor but, get it diagnosed properly and order a renault one and the modified wiring loom that goes with it.

Well its definetly not the battery as just tested that 12.6 with car off 14 with it on and 13 with all things electrical on and car engine on. Got a week off and its still drivable so ill work it out eventually

wire to starter motor connection gets corroded, clean it up and you will be fine, Happens to my sons once a year.
