Forte is an engine flush product used widely in the motor trade there are others but I have personaly used it and believe in it . An italian tune up is a colloquilsm for and extended run in say third gear at close to maximum rpm to blow the crap out of the engine
Ok I see. I poured a bottle of "Red Line SI-1" into the tank two days ago and am giving the engine an italian tune up steveo3002 said:
google gummed /stuck piston rings and heave a read
gentle use isnt always good for a car , using all the revs up the redline once warm will do it no harm , its made to do that
Cheers mate.gentle use isnt always good for a car , using all the revs up the redline once warm will do it no harm , its made to do that
Hydraulic tappet noise if its only a minute ignore it, may go away after engine flush / oil change . FORTE is added to the oil in the engine run to normal op temps and drained /filter changed and refill with fresh oil , they also sell a fuel treatment /injector cleaner 2 different jobs a fuel treatment will not have any effect on lubrication
