Severing jubilee clips on a fuel line

Hi,

Because of the line the clips on, I can't use power tools/dremel for obvious reasons. Also, the person who put them on, made them incredibly inaccessible so space is limited. To add to this, the clips are very tight, so getting a screwdriver or something between the clip and the pipe is a no go.

I need advice how I can go about getting the damn clip off. I tried using a hacksaw blade, and went to work through the screw on the worm gear, but that didn't help at all. I can't conventionally use a socket/screwdriver as the thread is completely mashed due to corrosion.

Getting grips/wrench in there to pry it off is also difficult because of the space.

Really could use all the help I can get please!

Is it bog standard fuel line? If so maybe just remove it both ends by whatever means necessary and replace it with new? It's really very cheap.

Hacksaw blade is about the smallest thing you can get to do the job is have thought.

My Maplin rotary tool came with a long flexible shaft ideal for tight places.

Assuming fuel isn't actually leaking there should be no issue with using a dremel or the like.
