Problem on my trafic 2.5 dci 150.
Yesterday I changed the EGR valve as it was coming up on diagonistics as valve stuck open.. replaced and double checked all connections.. Whilst doing it I also changed the fuel filter..
Got it to start this morning, 1st try would only run with pedal down a bit, then stalled once you lifted your foot off the accelerator.
2nd it started and ran and reved fine, 3rd try and subsequent tries only turns over the engine but doesn't start.. There was a lot of air in the fuel line to fuel pump on the engine, as I forgot to prime it (used to working on petrol, not worked on diesel before) so I removed the filter again and properly cleaned it all out, dried it and refitted everything, and primed it properly using bleed nipple so there's no air bubbles in the fuel lines now, disconnected fuel lines to injectors and primed using hand bulb until fuel was coming out but all of this still hasn't fixed it.. Is there a bleed nipple on the fuel pump at all?
Any ideas or suggestions would be great!

You will not get fuel out of the injector pipes by using the hand primer!!!

well... I did.. no squeeze, nothing came out, squeezed it, fuel dripped out after air through the lines..
don't think it was my priming skills to be honest, as the van starts after the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, now noticed the red light on the dash, as the immobilizer doesn't seem to want to turn off, vans going to Renault today to be diagnosed, will update when I know the fault.
cheers for your valuable input.
