Is this an Air Con leak off pipe?

Hello,

Just got back from shopping and noticed a small puddle of water under the car. When I looked under, it's coming from a pipe that is deliberately cut as shown in the photo. It's definitely not a split or cut by accident.

Is this some sort of air con leak off pipe to deal with condensation?

Can't see any pic due to work servers but if a car is parked with AC running you will normally get a small puddle of condensed water vapour from the condenser drain.

It certainly looks like an aircon drain pipe to me.

You shouldn't have any clear liquid in your car. All fluids are coloured. I would guess it's a drain tube. A/C, heater/plenum, sunroof.

Taste it ! If it's water nothing to worry about.

Looks to me like the air con condenser drain, working as it should - don't worry about it! If the pipe is dry if you leave the AC off, this will just confirm what it is. Large puddles have been found under my car.
